Software Question: Tag and M3U

Hi,
Need a bit of help. Downloaded the program "Tag and M3U" for evaluation. It says that it can do all sorts of things to mp3, m4a, mp4 and wma files. I used it to retag some m4a files... very nice. However, when I point it at a directory that contains mp3 files, no files appear in the list. Is this program not compatible w/ mp3 files?
