a few wav to mp3 files

Hello all,

I have a few wav files that are instrumentals of songs that are around 1 meg in size.  I want to convert them into mp3 so that they are optimized a little better to be put on the web.  What settings would you guys recommend I use to bring the file size down considering its just an instrumental and it doesn't have to sound perfect.  It is just background music for a website.
