compare audio tracks to extract differences

Is it posible to compare two audio tracks and extract differences between them?

I muxed movie soundtrack on dvd with translator voice. After some time I discovered the translation in some places is hardly audiable. The source of translator voice is lost.

Is there a plugin or program which removes noise from one audio when exact noise is given in another.

Audacity has noise removal option with support of noise profile.
You basically need to substract one audio stream from another (you must have one of the unmixed streams, with translator voice only or with movie soundtrack only).
Is it a multi-channel movie?

If I understand you correctly you have 2 audio files. First one with signal A and the second with signals A + B. You would like to remove the signal A from the second one. In that case all you need to do is invert the phase of the first file and mix it with the second one. Most audio editors should be able to do it (no need for a "fancy" noise removal feature).

Well, you explained my situation much better then me  . Now I understund my idea of going noise removal way was "fancy".

I forgot to mention my stream "A + B" is compressed to MPA. "A" is left untouched Ac3. So the "noise" part will not be a bit by bit identical. It will be just very similar.

I opened "A" in CoolEdit. May I have a hint, where is the Invert function? Maybe I can just press Ctrl+I like in Photoshop to invert the image? (Just kidding, I do not want to exploit your patience.)

Edit: I found Invert function in Edit View: Effects > Invert.

Ura, ura! I did it!
The knockout effect is not 100% because A+B stream was normalized and I also had to synchronize them (I do not know why A+B MPA version had some 50ms click in the begining). The original sound is still audiable, but it is 50% lower and do not wipe out the tanslator voice.
Thank you, thank you, I thoght at first it will be impossible, but I knew I had to give a try to forums.
