Ok, I have an M-Audio Transit USB (96khz/24bit) and I love it, especially having digital out. I got it for about $65 (yes, i know it's more than you want to spend). The best price i've found is here: [a href="http://www.floridamusicco.com/proddetail.asp?prod=transit]Florida Music Co.[/url]. Spend a little more and get a good one?

I'm using a Griffin iMic - I bought it for the mic-level input, but the output is heads over tails better than my powerbook's minijack output.
