and what better program to manage the mp3 files but foobar2000!

I just want to say that I am a very happy user of your config.

Of course, I had to make some changes to the code to suit my own tagging needs and It's been working very well. You can see a screenshot here.

A "welcome back" from me as well. It's nice to have worthy noncommercial competition, because it usually promotes innovation - from which in the long term all involved parties benefit :-)

Just want to say: thank you!

I've been using azreal as default for some time now and for me it's still the best so again, thank you.
to bring the pieces back together we need to rediscover communication.

The track numbers are messing it up. Use "Auto Track Number"

Neksus: looks like the tag standards for "last played" and "play counter" are changing from "last_played" to "last played". there is a contradiction though, as discussed here. you might want to update azrael.

Hey

1st post - please indulge me.

Been using Azrael for a couple months now (great work Neksus) and like everyone I have tweaked a bit to suit my needs but I have been unable to figure out one thing -

I'd like the Artist column (which shows Album, Album Artist, Genre etc) to repeat the same behaviours at track 101-104 and 201-204 etc

To clarify further - I *think* neksus uses "$select($min(5,%tracknumber%)" to control what appears in the Artist column, but I'd like exactly the same information repeated @ 101, 201 etc.

I use 1xx and 2xx to indicate CD2/CD3 on my Rio Karma (reduces the number of repeated album names. If you have a Karma you'll probably understand this). I'd like to have foobar recognise those tracknumbers just as it would tracks 1-4 normally.

Thanks all for any help you can provide.

What came into my mind is to replace %tracknumber% with $right($num(%tracknumber%,3),2) .

It's all died down now.  Tags are PLAY_COUNTER, LAST_PLAYED and FIRST_PLAYED.
