my current config. still not what i would like it to be, but it's much better than what i had before ...

[a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v378/SoLid_PrAnkstA/fooby-07-02-05.gif" target="_blank"]  the play count and rating don't really mean anything anyway, with no quick tag or play_count.  but it's still a work in progress, as always.

Is that 3 different trackinfo panels you have there?

Of course, that are different trackinfo panels! I have it too:

I think you can find the dll-files here in forum somewhere. If not, i can send to you with email.
Just tell me.

First off I should say that I'm a newbie to foobar, and so this may be a newbie question (it probably is). Anyway, I downloaded one of the config files posted on this topic (the one from stratman). It came with an fcs file, a txt file, and an image. I know the image is for the buttons and I had no problem getting that to work. I went into foobar and went to preferences>display>coumn UI>other and clicked on import. It prompted me to select an fcs file to import from, so I obviously clicked on the one I downloaded. It didn't seem to change anything though. (At least my foobar looks nothing like the picture. It has no frames at the top whatsoever, while the picture has 3.) Am I just confused and this isn't what an fcs file does? Or is something going wrong? (I have all of the components that he said to download, except for the album art one becasue I couldn't find it. Is the lack of this component to blame???)

A related question concerning the text file included with the fcs and image file: where exactly am I supposed to copy the text into? If anyone more knowledgable than me has happened to download this and can tell me, it would be greatly appreaciated.

Thanks for any help.

I feel your pain! Seriously, I know how frustrated you must  be. It's not enough just to put the necessary componants in your component folder. You need to pop the hood and make adjustments. There are several tutorials on how to set up multiple tabbed panel stacks. As for the Track Info string which was what the text file consists of, you need to copy & paste that into the Track Info Panel "Formatting String" field. I'm sorry that I can't make it easier for you. I've spent at least a year reading through all these posts, slowly building my FB2K.
Here is the link to the Album Art Panel component. Good luck!

PS. The Album Art Panel needs both MSVCP71.dll and MSVCR71.dll present in order to work, as well as GDI+ runtime installed (standard in Windows XP and newer).

Thanks for the quick reply stratman. So much for the easy route, I guess I'm gonna hafta get my hands dirty doing this.  Anyways, the download links on the forum post you gave me are broken. Do you or anyone else happen to know if that component is being hosted on another website?

Thanks very much.
