Information About 5.1 Trust 751B 5.1 Headset

Hello guys

i need some information about this headset

Here is my question:

The specs of this headset says that they will work in a home dvd with 5.1 output, and dont mention any need of an amplifier.

But some other 5.1 headsets need an amplifier to work with a dvd player.

Anybody knows if they really need an amplifier or not to work on a dvd player?

They work if your dvd player has built-in 5.1 decoder and outputs. On the other hand, I wouldn't buy headphones like that. I would just buy good Sennheisers etc. in stead of.
