Restore playlist order

Is it possible to restore the order in which a playlist was populated? I had a rather big history-like playlist (luckily one of many) and accidentally changed the order. Now I can't even get foobar to properly order them by album, at least not in the right track order. That would be a start, but again: what I really want is my original sort of custom order!
