APE 2.0 tags supported in XMMS MPC plugin?

ID3v1 tags suck and I like the idea of using APE 2.0 tags in my MPC files.  I s'pose that's why the support is built into the encoder...  Anyway, the Winamp plugin displays the tags fine, but the XMMS 0.94 plugin doesn't seem to even know they exist.  Is there support planned for these tags in the future?

Bump...  I wonder when the XMMS plugin will be brought up-to-date?  The WinAmp plugin handles all things very well.
