Have a look at this thread.
Hans van der Heijden's given RealAudio Lossless a try, and he reported to me that it's not particularly good at compressing. He didn't mention any percentages though. More importantly, it revealed clicks and skips during playback, which could of course have been due to RealPlayer. If not, then that means RAL is not lossless at all.
Haven't had the chance to try it out myself. RealNetworks is not shouting RAL from the rooftops, in any case. Who knows because they realize it's not too great compared to its main competitors.
