roberto was the only one to test my aacgain tool, it's not a rumor - it exists!
roberto reported bugs, and i didn't find the time to fix them, as it worked fine for me. in fact, i still use it from time to time.
it's just that i'm hardly active in the audio scene anymore (neither here, nor real-life). i'm deep into pure math now.

it'll be ready.. one day..

and it will support all containers mp4/aac. i doubt it will support the HE profile, since, imho, updating the global_gain tag won't suffice. right menno/ivan ?


as soon as i'll find the time to fiddle with my aacgain, i'll publish the sources and menno could put it in audiocoding's cvs.


edit : it'll be a cli tool.
