LAME Encode In NERO

I use Nero's LAME MP3 Encoder  to encode MP3 files from shn and FLAC files that I download. (I'm sure that there are better products, but Nero is what I use).

There are fewer settings available to me in Nero's version then the settings that I see documented and recommended on the web in in these forums.

I play the files back on my Rio Karma DAP.

Is anyone familiar with this version of the LAME encode? What are the recommended settings? It does offer VBR or Constant, and a range of indivdual settings, but they don't correspond to articles I've seen, and there is no Nero documentation.

Any suggestions willbe appreciated.

nero's lame encoder uses Lame 3.93.
