LAME 3.97

I have seem some mention of LAME 3.97 in posts here today. I had thought that 3.96 was the newest. Did 3.97 just come out? Where can it be downloaded?

Anyone compared 3.97 with earlier versions yet? How does it compare? Best LAME yet? Are the presets the same?

Which means major changes are still being made & it's not ready for use.
