Still have no idea what tag 70 is codec is; I've never heard of it and neither has google. Maybe post the address of the site it sends you to so others can take a look.

This is the exact message:

The audio codec identified by the format tag 70 is required to play this file.  To determine if this codec is available to download from the web, click Web Help.
Then i click it and it sends me to microsoft and this is what they say:
The required codec is not available

Windows Media Player cannot play the file because the required codec is not available for download from Microsoft. The Lernout and Hauspie codec may be available on a third-party Web site:

What kind of file are you trying to play when you get this error msg?

He's trying to play an AVI file. The tag number it gives is an IANA identifier, in hex.

Tag 70 is the VoxWare AC8 (Lernout & Hauspie 4.8 kbps) codec. It's part of the VoxWare MetaSound software.

List of the codec tags can be found here: http://www.iana.org/assignments/wave-avi-codec-registry

I believe this codec will work: http://www.codec-archiv.de/cod/sonstige/vox.zip
No guarantees though, I only found that file via a google search.
