libisomedia.dll

hi, i am starting out with this mpeg4 authoring and i have some encoders and a player and this libisomedia.dll (its an xp machine i'm doing this with) which i have no idea where to put. i believe it should enable me to use the encoders compile the xmt into mpeg4. is this right?

so, i'm hoping someone might be really generous and help me out...

or if anyone can suggest alternative decoders. the ones i've got compile mp4 and bifs from the command line.

oh, and i'm still feeling my way around this subject. the only words i am really comfortable with is command line...
