Encoding gapless from Foobar 2000

Do i have to use any special settings in the Foobar CLI Encoder to make gapless files (Lame, Nencode, GT3b2 or Musepack encoder 1.14) ?

Should i enable "encoder requires accurate length" or "pass floating point data" ? (and what is it?)

I haven't enabled any of them, but all my files from the mentioned encoders appear to be played back gapless in Foobar 2000 (sounds gapless to me at least). But when i enable the Gap Killer DSP, it does remove samples. Does that mean the files are not gapless?

Yes the fooobar2000 diskwriter will write gapless encodes for all encoders that support this. Including recent LAME versions.

There is no need to worry about the "encoder requires accurate length option" in this case.

Also you should not use the gap killer dsp to encode in any of these either. Gap killer works very diffferent then native gapless support, so this would only mess up things in this case
