when i /ADD X miscelaneous tracks from different places on my harddrive to foobar (through the command line) they are sorted before added.

this is very unfortunate.

how can i remove this behaviour?

if i do the same with albums (playlists) i do not get this behaviour.

other players do not behave in this way. if i add X Y Z in that order, i want them to appear in that order.

Actually this behaviour is not questionable at all.

There is a "sort incoming files" feature in the core preferences.

You can customize this in any way you like.  In this case %_path% is probably what you are looking for.
