normalization in WMA

1. what players (except WMP9) are able normalize volume using WM/WMADRCAverageReference and WM/WMADRCPeakReference attributes in WMA files?
2. what algorithm is used for calculating this attributes?
3. how relate this attributes with Replay Gain?

1. None that I'm aware of use these tags that WMP puts into most everything it can
2. The Average Reference is simply an average of the samples, I think. The Peak is similar, it's the peak value of the samples.
3. You don't. The ReplayGain method does a considerably better analysis than WMP does. My guess is that WM is simply doing peak normalization.
