SHOUTcast stream metadata

Will future versions of foobar show the metadata contained in a SHOUTcast stream? Right now it only shows the stream URL and port, but not the metadata (like artist, songtitle etc).

Thanks for the great program.

It will be possible, AFAIK, but only if the metadata is located at the start of the audio stream, like ID3v2 tags. If your streams are tagged with ID3v1 or APEv2, you'll only get the metadata displayed after the song has finished . I think.

(Edited my original post)
Edit: Sorry, apparently it is very possible to implement metadata display... I was thinking in terms of the availability of files that can stream this way.

there actually have been a few versions of foobar that display stream metadata. and of course other audio players display this data routinely.
so it is possible, i guess we'll have to wait.
