Default UI and Columns UI:
Menu > Edit > Search (Playlist Search)
You can create new conditional playlists using Title Formatting and Query syntax.
For simple searches within a playlist, just type without worrying about title formatting.

Columns UI:
Typefind panel (foo_uie_typefind)

Yeah, that one I found. I had hoped there's the equivalent of the "Quick Seach" from the Windows version ;D

What I would like to achieve is to display all the filtered tracks in the playlist view.
But as it looks now, that's not possible.

If you want to do a simple artist or album search, the cursor will be on Top Track in Playlist View.

I agree.
There's still a lot to come, right?
But I think evolution is slow.

Oh that is great, I had no idea that would work, thanks! That's a good workaround for now :)

Yeah, can't wait for more improvements and features. A Waveseekbar for Mac and I would be a happy camper :P

Are you viewing ReFacets?
Change from Library to Playlist and click on the artist or album.
If you can't find the artist or album, type it in Search and click on the artist or album.
