static in eac rips

Got 6 new cd's for Christmas and trying  to rip them to my computer.  I  am using Exact Audio Copy v1.8.  New install of Win 11, AMD processor new, updated all drivers and keep getting the same results.  Playback on multiple machines and multiple different players with same result.  Any advice on where to look from here is appreciated.

Try with CueTools CD Ripper. Or play with rip commands for your CD drive in EAC, it may be something weird about it.
Do CDs have copy protection feature? Check online for info.

After any rip, the first step is to verify the results using AccurateRip/CTDB (assuming a commercial CD).

Do I understand correctly that you have an entirely new setup and this is the first time you are extracting audio CDs on it? Check the drive options in EAC, there is the "Big Endian byte order" option under the Drive tab. Perhaps it has a wrong value, wrong endianess would definitely cause noise.

Thank you for your reply.  It's a new SuperMicro put in service about six months ago.  There is a fresh installation of Exact Audio Copy v1.8.  I have always (over 10 years) used EAC fresh from the box to rip my cd's.  Never had an issue nor have I ever done any configuration changes to the program until recently when it was running dog slow.  I changed the bit rate to 128.
Someone mentioned checking "Drive Options" so here's a screen shot of that.

Drive is the next tab over. I circled the setting @Case  mentioned.
