how can i correct write drive offeset (negative value ) in cuetools ?

hi
 yesterday I have ripped some cds with eac and i would like to burn with imgburn or anyburn or another good audio burning software ,under mac there is X Lossless Decoder (XLD) mac only

according to eac the read offset is +6 and burning a test cd is 0 , so the write offset is +6-0 = -6 , right?

I don't know if i have to use encode ->default or fix
I would like to fix the write offset just to make a perfect copy without burning with eac
In short , I would like to rip the burned cd and have the accurate rip values ,offset and hash
I have read many topics but they are pretty old , may I ask you if the write offset -6 is right and if the option on cuetools are right?

thanks

You definitely DO NOT want to use 'fix offset'
There was a recent topic on that
CUETools - Custom scripts (fix offset)
Everything else looks okay.

Notes: Don't forget Track 01 pregap or (HTOA), if any.
If the original was only available as an enhanced CD with data track, you will not be able to burn a CD that will 'verify' to the original.

Hi Korth
ok
1) i will not use "fix offset"

2) I have ripped several cds with offset +6 with the same drive ASUS DRW-2014L1T , in the link you have posted , but i don't want to be offtopic

3) i want to burn some cds ripped with eac with reading offset +6 with imgburn or anyburn ,they can burn much better
since with eac the drive burning offset is 0 ,reading is +6 ,  +6 - 0 = -6 , so my write offset is -6 , i guess it's the right number
so just to be clear , to burn one of these cds , i can use cuetools and set
action =encode
mode =image+cue
extra  offset=-6
output =wav
4) when i will re-rip the burned cd with eac ,will I  have same the same data ,accurate rip as the original cd i have ripped and stored on my computer in flac ?

thanks korth

Your 'write offset' correction calculation seems okay.
CUETools settings okay.
The original TOC is important for an AccurateRip match in EAC. If your original rip was made to individual tracks, you should have the EAC extraction logfile in the same folder as the original rip or use a cue sheet created by EAC from the original CD when using CUETools to create the Image+CUE for burning. This will catch Track 01 pregap, if any.
In some cases you will not be able to make a copy of the CD that verifies after ripping in EAC, such as an enhanced CD with data track, but should be able to use the original rip's EAC extraction logfile in the same folder as the new rip to verify.

I've used AnyBurn and ImgBurn. Either should work for you. I'm not familiar with BurnAware.
