Is there a reason why there is no tab in the Preferences / Display / Album Art section to specify search patterns for the icon album art type?

Yeah, beats me too,
The artreaders only look for an embedded ICON. No externals, no stub.
I wrote code to fallback to something similar as what is done in Preferences / Display / Album Art
