using foorbar to move mp3 files to ipod

I read that foobar would be good to do this; I am not experienced using Apple products. I have a 2nd generation Ipod, I just want to use it through my stereo receiver to play mp3 but need to first load the files onto it,

My PC recognizes it but only DCIM folder. Is there a way to use foobar to transfer the mp3 files to the ipod?
