Album List in ColumnsUI not populating playlist Foobar V2.0 X64

Recently updated to foobar2000 v2.0 (X64) and lost the ability to populate playlist by clicking in Album List UI panel.

Stand alone album list window works fine.  Manipulated all the playlist names and click options to no avail.  Is there some setting I'm missing or is this a bug?

Idk if this is related but I have found a behavior using the Filter search Toolbar. For example search for <filename>, then change the filename in the OS by manual edit to <something else>, then really fast type in the same <filename> before any one character has exceeded the cooldown. The list shouldn't change. That tells us that it is like taking snapshots in a slideshow, not starting from scratch with the search terms. Now search <something else> in that same time and the new data will actually come in.
