[Request] Visualizations -> VU Meter: Please upgrade meter to the IEC 61606:1997 standard

As all of you know there is a VU meter in Foobar but this meter is totally useless, because it works in a non-standard method.
All the RMS meters in an every DAW are calibrated according to IEC 61606:1997 standard, which in another words means RMS+3 scale.
It would be wonderful if a properly calibrated meter could be applied in foobar.
Is it possible? or maybe it is too complicated?

Meter in Foobar which is called VU Meter is NOT a VU Meter - it is RMS Meter.
This RMS Meter in Foobar (VU Meter) is uncalibrated so it is useless. It should be calibrated according to IEC 61606:1997 (RMS+3dB scale).
Take a look at screenshot:
Foobar is playing -20dbFS pink noise signal. RMS Meter embedded in Foobar shows -23dBFS (not correct), all the others properly calibrated meters show -20 dBFS (correct).

Maybe someone could write some component, which would be able to adjust this so called VU Meter to a modern studio standard (IEC 61606:1997 - RMS+3dB scale)?
