Tagging issues with freedb (and discogs)

Hi there

So, I'm using foobar2000 v1.6.16, and recently I can't get tags from freedb.
Usually it was working just fine, I was using this option when needed, and most of the times it was just fine and saved me lots of time, but today it's not working at all, and for every query ends with the "No information found on server for files:..." message.

- Am I missing anything?
- Is the freedb still alive?

In addition, I've installed and configured the Discogs tagger component, but like few years ago, it's not working for me.

I'll be very grateful for some help regarding tagging options with fb2k.

Thanks in advance

J.

Thank you so much grimes, your solution is perfect, and the tagging is back!

By the way, how did you get a fully dark theme for foobar ?? (I'm using the Columns UI with dark mode, but the menus are still on light mode).

Thanks again for your help, appreciate that a lot

J

Thank you.

Ok, so foobar version: 2.0 is the beta version, correct? is it fully dark?
looks very nice. I might give it a try.

Last question please, Do you know any app or music player with tagging options (like fb2k), but for macOS?

Thanks again!

J.

Thanks, I remember that I tried this in the past, but it is very minimalist, do you know if it supports all the features like in windows10? like VU meter and sound spectrum etc.. ?

Thanks again

I've been living with the freedb problem, but using Discogs, finally searched for what was going on ...  Thanks Grimes!    👍👍👍
