Hi, Case. Is it possible to compile foo_out_wasapis 0.6.18 for foobar2000 1.4x-1.6x? I have a foobar2000 1.6.16 installation, and 0.6.16 (for foobar2000 1.4x) has a bug: it does not stop playback after the last track in the playlist. 0.6.18 (for foobar2000 2.0x) has fixed this issue, but cannot be used with foobar2000 1.6.16.

Hi @Compact Dick. It's been a long time since I last heard of you.
I compiled the 0.6.18 version with the latest SDK in foobar2000 v1.6 compatible mode and uploaded it to the official repository.

Thank you so much, @Case — 0.6.18 works perfectly fine with 1.6.16. I am most grateful.

Yes, it has been a while since I was last active, but I still lurk when possible. How much has changed since the frenzied days of the 2000s.

Glad to chat with you again after all this time. Thanks for all the wonderful work you and the rest do for us. When time permits, I'll drop into the IRC channel. Cheers! 👍

Hello, WASAPI shared a loud (noisy) plugin. Cans make one volume for WASAPI event and WASAPI shared? What would volume will (in favor event) like/how to WASAPI event.

I'm serious. Please, level the volume of the plugins (event and shared) to the lower volume. A-that the volume slider is heading towards the beginning. Yet to "shared" fails to increase the volume in the same way as to "event". (translated translate.google.com).

And why today closed foo_out_wasapi topic and today delete my last post there?

The WASAPI shared component is not loud, it uses the volume the player asks it to use. In foobar2000 v2.x series the core currently remembers per-output volume levels. I'm not going to invent any hacks that attempt to circumvent that feature.

Your last post in foo_out_wasapi topic was not removed nor was the topic locked. But your link is to a wrong thread, it points to an old thread about a specific beta version. It's not relevant for anything anymore as the component is out of beta.
The exclusive WASAPI component is specifically for exclusive mode playback. It will not get an option to disable "monopoly mode". But that component is also deprecated as its functionality is supported natively by the player.

Sorry, I was wrong, I was looking for the topic “WASAPI output” and did not find it through the search and in the “3rd Party Plugins - (fb2k)” thread. WASAPI shared a loud (noisy) component!

And is this a mistake? When closed topics are searched first in searches. (transleted https://translate.google.com).

What is "exclusive WASAPI component"? I see "WASAPI output" and "WASAPI shared output".
