What would you recomend to stream a playlist/library content overthe internet

Looking forward for a way to do this with Foobar2000 and hopefully with password protection/encryption
I'm aware of this component:

But last update was done back in 2015

Of course, it still works! I use it everyday with fb2k 1.6.12.
I have also briefly tested with fb 2.0 32-bit with positive results.
So old but gold  ;)
