What are the differences between SpiderMonkeyPanel and the JScript 3?

Title pretty much says it all.
As far as i know, JScript used to be the only popular component that allows to use JavaScript with f2k.
Then SpiderMonkeyPanel came along and also provided a migration guide, and i thought that JScript was deprecated, but now there's JScript 3.
What are the differences/advantages/disadvantages?

Thanks for any explanations :)
