A Discord community for foobar2000

This is an unofficially created foobar2000 discord community. It has just been created, has very few members, and is unsure if it will thrive.
What is certain is that the preferred communication community is still the HA forum. discord will serve as a complementary vehicle for instant communication.
If it does well next, I would prefer that ownership could be transferred to the Crown, and if it proves not to be a good communication platform, it will fade into oblivion.

Why?  What's wrong with the forum?
It's your privilege to disagree, but that doesn't make you right and me wrong.

This feels like an attempt to promote Discord to me (whatever that is).  Dig deeper and the mods might find a connection between "JourneyReese" and "always.beta".

Cool, had no idea there was a Discord server, however unofficially. I've just joined. I've often wanted somewhere to discuss fb2k more casually/fleetingly, usually I am rambling about fb2k in my own server, which isn't the most appropriate place. Forums still have their place for more in-depth discussion, though there's definitely been times when I've made threads or posts here that feel superfluous, and a quick message in a server would have felt less excessive.
