Speak of the Devil, Monkey's Audio came in two new releases yesterday:
*  .caf support
*  RF64 support

And in the jungle of updates I didn't spot that it also supports SND/AU. Which, I think, is unique among the lossless (reference) encoders?

Monkey's help website is a bit rudimentary, so updating the whole .chm would probably take ages.
And break the "max five releases a day" policy.

O'Rlyeh? 12 minutes of CDDA on an 850 Celeron here. FLAC was at "if that isn't a deal-breaker" speed, and WavArc -c5 was at 0.2x
The FLAC number is quite telling: In ktf's 2014 comparison, FLAC -5 is three times as fast as Monkey's normal, here it was the other way around. And AFAIUnderstand, 3.86beta1 was first version with Monkey's new and current format. (WavPack has changed format.)
IDK how Monkey's was developed, if this was a selection used in tuning it isn't that strange if Monkey's does well on it - but at least it helps explain how Monkey's could pick up a userbase.  Note also how RKAU percentages are on their head completely, "fast" smaller files than "normal" smaller than "high" - it could very well be that RKAU was more sensitive to minor oddities in material.
