Newbie help pls. Unexpected audio format change

I'm new to FB2K, it's a great program, so incredibly versatile.

I'm trying to join (concatenate) several mp3's into a single MP3.

I have 2 MP3's off 2 different CDs and 1 MP3 voice track I created with Audacity, like an outro track.

When I try to Convert the 3 tracks together, I get this error:

==================
2 out of 3 files converted with major problems.

Source: "C:\Users\matt\Documents\Music\music track 1.mp3"
  An error occurred while writing to file (Unexpected audio format change) : "C:\Users\matt\Documents\web site\Image.mp3"
  Additional information:
  Encoder stream format: 44100Hz / 2ch / 24bps
  Command line: "C:\Program Files (x86)\foobar2000\encoders\lame.exe" -S --noreplaygain -V 2 - "Image.mp3"
  Working folder: C:\Users\matt\Documents\web site\

Source: "C:\Users\matt\Documents\web site\music\outro.mp3"
  Conversion failed: Unexpected audio format change
======================

If I remove the Audacity track (outro.mp3) the files convert without a problem.

I'm not really sure what to look for, so all help is greatly appreciated.

The error means that channel count or sample rate changes between the tracks. You can fix it by inserting appropriate DSPs like convert mono to stereo or resampler with 44100 Hz target sample rate. Or you could re-create outro.mp3 with correct settings so no DSPs would be needed when used this way.
