It looks like the CD has degraded to the point that it's mostly unreadable. Recordable CDs aren't nearly as resilient as factory-pressed CDs. The reflective layer will degrade over time even under ideal storage conditions, and we have no idea how this CD was treated before you got it. It's also possible that the sticker's adhesive has dissolved the reflective layer.

Removing the sticker may peel up the reflective layer, which would thoroughly destroy what remains of the CD.

If you happen to know someone with a microscope, you could compare your CD with another (recordable!) CD and try to see what kind of damage it has. It won't help you recover anything, but it might be cool to look at.

Before throwing it in the trashcan... Have you tried playing the CD in different CD players and DVD players? Different types of Error Correction systems may give different results, plus they can do their "Error Correction magic" at 1 x Speed. (does that even make sense LOL).

Also, the person who burned the CD could have burned more than one, so maybe if you try to rip the CD again some day, there may be a match in the Accurate Rip database, with the exact artists and tracktitles. Then you can maybe buy straight from the artists.
