Importing Itunes m3u playlist.

Hi all!

I really need help at the moment, it'll be greatly appreciated!
I'm trying to switch players from Itunes to Foobar and move my Itunes playlist to Foobar. I've exported the playlist of 2181 songs via itunes 12.3.2 in-house export function to m3u (I think this is the only format that both itunes and foobar are compatible with), as well as an 3rd party software. Once imported to foobar the itunes m3u file only produces 1157 songs and the 3rd party m3u shows 2043songs (but for some reason only 1990 titles are shown in the inhouse counter, check this http://imgur.com/uUqo2AJ for clarification).

My library contains english, japanese and chinese songs so there's characters from those languages as well as some special characters.
Can some1 please help me manage to export/import the full playlist?

Thanks so much!

after importing, check your foobar2000's console.
I guess the reason is encodings... I do not know which country are you from but you should change the m3u file's encoding to your local's.(e.g. in mainland China it is cp936)
A rose will bloom, it then will fade.

I'll try that out, thanks! I'll let you know if it works.

The console states
could not enumerate tracks (Object not found) on:
F:\Music\Steins;Gate - Symphonic Reunion\Disc 2\11.髱樒キ壼ス「繧ク繧ァ繝九い繝・け -Instrumental- syphonic ver..mp3
could not enumerate tracks (Object not found) on:
F:\Music\Steins;Gate - Symphonic Reunion\Disc 2\12.繧ケ繧ォ繧、繧ッ繝ゥ繝・ラ縺ョ隕ウ貂ャ閠・-Instrumental- syphonic ver..mp3
for many songs.

But I've gone into the folder and manually found the files there.

Also regarding encodings, I'm pretty noob so I've no idea how to go about it. The majority of my music that's not english is japanese, does this mean I have to encode in japanese?

Also thanks so much for your help.

Save as .m3u8 if you can then open with Notepad++. Then use the Encoding menu>Convert UTF-8-BOM.
