Playing DSD from NAS without PC/Mac

Hi guys. First time poster here. Recently I've bought some new AV components. Now my system looks like this:

      HDMI                                            HDMI(ARC)                            USB
PS4 ------> Pioneer SC-LX88 AV receiver -------> Samsung Smart TV <---- Synology NAS DS414
                                                            ---> KEF LS50 speakers

And all of the above hardwired to ASUS WiFi router.

Pioneer SC-LX88 have internal USB-DAC. So the question is, what hardware do I need so I can connect it to my receiver's USB-DAC to be able play DSD audio files stored on my NAS?    My NAS have three USB ports but they are not ASIO USB.

Thank you in advance!

P.S Sorry for my english, it's not my native language.

You have a couple of options.

As both Synology and Pioneer supports DLNA, the Pioneer should be able to browse the audio on the NAS over the network.. This a matter of configuring the DLNA on both.

Maybe the Pioneer can also browse the file systems of external HD’s and NAS.

As far as I know you can use Synology for direct play back (Audio station)
Connect the receiver to the NAS with a USB cable and check if somewhere on the NAS you can choose  the receiver as the audio device.

Thank you so much for your reply    Sorry, the topic title is a little misleading. My task is to feed DSD files stored on NAS to USB-DAC input on my AV Receiver  I did some research yesterday and it looks like Auralic Aries could do this job for me as it has usb input for external mass storage and USB out to connect it to DAC. Although price is a little steep for a media bridge

Those music 'servers', 'players' and 'bridge' like Aries are nothing more than a(n overpriced) computer. As far as I know, Aries' OS is modified linux. You will be still using a computer, except the fact that it is not just named 'computer' with bigger pricetag and a nice chassis.

You cannot avoid playing DSD without computer's help currently.
