fb2k and HLS streams

Hi, now that the BBC (and others?) are using HLS streams is there any possibility that someone can develop a plugin to enable foobar to stream this format?

thanks

Have some magical hack in the meantime. Use the following preset with foo_input_exe and rename the HLS playlist files to *.hls.

I can't get this to work I'm afraid. The playlists such as
Code: [Select]
http://a.files.bbci.co.uk/media/live/manifesto/audio/simulcast/hls/uk/high/ak/bbc_1xtra.m3u8

seem to generate a further dynamic playlist such as
Code: [Select]
http://as-hls-uk-live.edgesuite.net/pool_7/live/bbc_1xtra/bbc_1xtra.isml/bbc_1xtra-audio=128000.m3u8?dvr_window_length=24

If these are expanded in a browser they generate streamed .ts files but within foobar at best I can only get access denied.

Am I missing something here?

Seems then ffmpeg does not support those particular form of HLS playlists.
