Foobar to never change titel of the program?

Original question. How do I get Foobar to never change titel of the program?

Atm the name of my foobar program is
"foobar 2000 v1.3.8"
but if I play a song it changes to
"AC/DC - Highway to Hell    [foobar 2000 v1.3.8]"

Also I would prefer is "version" never was in the titel of the program. I would like the titel of the program to be always the same and NEVER change.
Is there any way for me to change the name of it to whatever I want it to be ?

If I go to settings and "DISPLAY" ==> "DEFAULT USER INTERFACE"
I can change if I Want the track to be displayed or not.

But When not playing song the titel is foobar 2000 v1.3.8 and if I play any song it changes to [foobar 2000 v1.3.8] so it changes titel with the []
Also as I asked above, would be nice if there way any way that the titel never changed, not even with version in the titel.

Go to File>Preferences>Display>Default User Interface>Window title

Just clear out the box and you're done.

Can't do anything about the []. That is hard coded in the program.

So it still writes [],
and it still writes the "version" number in the titel.

So sure it would not write the song group and titel, but since it still changes the titel even when I play song. the change is kind of useless.
Since the program is looking for the exact name, and chaning the titel in anyway causes problems.

Would it be possible to make any addon for this ?
Or is it just to much hard coded to make this possible ?

What program are you using that is looking for the title? There might be a way to wildcard/regex it, or to find the foobar window a different way.

OBS (Open Broadcast Software). Streamer and capturing "waveform seekbar" and "spectrum" on Foobar for my stream layout.

And In OBS Im "Windows Capture" and in windows capture you have to select what window you want to capture.
And since it is set on "foobar 2000 v1.3.8" whenever a new version comes out of foobar. All my settings are reset.
Because OBS can no longer find that windows with that name, so I have to redo all settings... Rather irritiating.

The version number always shows, so it just goes from "foobar2000 v1.3.8" when nothing is playing to [foobar2000 v1.3.8] when a track is playing. There is nothing you can do about that. That is all hard coded in the program.

you could try this to get rid of the version in brackets...

Code: [Select]
%_foobar2000_version%$repeat( ,400)
