Vorbis 2.0 (foobar2000) vs aoTuVb6.03

I'm not sure exactly what version foobar2000's ogg vorbis codec is but is it the same as aoTuVb6.03? What is the difference and which is better?

libVorbis 1.3.5 is the latest, SOME SAY aoTuV is still better under 96 kbps. There is nothing official thought and I have no idea why Xiph doesn't integrate the changes/improvements so people stop wondering which one is better.

1.3.5 is the codec used by Foobar? Would you say lib vorbis is on par or equal to aotuv at q10 setting?

foobar2000 uses whatever you tell it to use, the Free Encoder Pack uses a compiled libVorbis 1.3.5 version.

Really dude Q10? I think it may be just a little overkill. Start ABXing from Q2 up and please read here: http://wiki.hydrogenaud.io/index.php?title...nded_Ogg_Vorbis

I was wondering, why is aoTuV beta 5.7 recommended  on the wiki over beta 6.03 (latest)?

That's probably the version used when they tested. Always use the latest version, of everything.
