Yet another high rez vs Redbook test...

I probably shouldn't have read it, as it just annoys the sh*t out of me to see the naivete and wheel-reinvention and obliviousness to everything HA has offered over the years.  If any of you want to help them out please do, I've probably burned my bridge there with my last post.

I thought the idea that the size of a WAV file might vary depending on audio content (rather than sample rate, bit depth, number of channels, and duration) showed a fairly amazing lack of knowledge and understanding.

Which is fair enough - until you decide to influence a test that requires a reasonable level of knowledge and understanding in the same area.

IME that forum is not a hotbed of technical sophistication, despite some fairly heroic efforts to help it along in that direction.  Probably best to not take it too seriously.
