Foobar Ipod manager - Exporting Playlists to an Ipod Classic

Hi all

Apologies in advance for what is most likely a very simple question....

I've read lots about importing playlists into Foobar, exporting playlists into iTunes, etc.  What I would like to know is whether you can export playlists made in Foobar directly to an iPod (Classic 160gb), using the Foobar Ipod Manager?

Would also be good to have a brief explanation of the three different file formats for playlists in Foobar.
