Buslink 52x24x52x: What about a LiteOn for 19.95?

At Microcenter(USA), you can buy the Buslink 52x24x52x CDR-W at US$ 19.95 only, after US$ 20.00 mail rebate.
Buslink uses both Aopen and Lite-On drives.
The packaging is identical on both, except for this detail
on the box:
For Lite-On drives, look for "SmartBurn".
For Aopen drives, it says: "JustLink & Just Speed Technology".

*edit*: to pick the LiteOn, you must purchase in-store, of course.
Seems the Aopen drives are made by Ricoh.

Good observation! I bought my lite-on drive for $15 at best buy and it was in a BusLink box just like that... you could imagine how surprised I was when I realized that I got a lite-on when I was expecting just some cheap CDRW.

If you have this kind of deal near you, go for it!

There's also this "Verbatim" drive which is certainly a LITE-ON 52246S.

It should still have the almost $55 worth of rebates.

I have one, it says LITE-ON on the label and shows up in device manager as LITE-ON LTR-52246S.
