mogg (multitrack ogg) playback in fb2k

Is it possible for .mogg to be able to be decoded by foobar in a future update or a third-party plugin (and either show the oggs contained, or play them all back like a surround multichannel track)?

This might seem like a stupid question, but have to tried renaming the file to .ogg? It just might play then.

Does this "mogg" extension/format have some proper official backing or any form of controlling body, or is it a filthy hack/convention by some fork?
Stay sane, exile.

Maybe it does have official backing, seeing as it has been used in the Guitar Hero and Rock Band video games. I couldn't find any more specific information as of yet. Audacity can open these files.

That's one way of putting it. mogg files are apparently rips from these games.

Another unofficial convention is .logg files, which are renamed .ogg files which contain loop information in the tags. The convention was invented for use in a number of games, and is supported for playback by vgmstream.
