No one got an idea, how to activate 'filter' from "Album List" in Colums_UI?
That would help.

Do not use cui, so this is just a guess.
filters present filtered views of you music library. From your image it looks like you have no music in your library. Additionally, i do not see where you have inserted any filter panels to use in your configuration. Place filters in your configuration and configure the library to point to your music would be a good starting point.

edit: please keep in mind that i am having some trouble understanding your questions. not sure if the above question is the same as what was asked in the op, what troubles you have with quick search - as it works fine, and i do not know what your reference to dui is meant to convey. As an aside, search elements designed to search within the foobar music library will have a hard time returning results from an empty library.

use default UI. i cannot see anything in your layout that requires you to use columns. (apart from the oversized volume/seekbar)

@ OP: You need to right-click in the Album List Panel and click on Filter to enable it to display there.

HI again.
I updated my foo_uie_albumlist.dll to v. 0.3.5. (the last one)
and i can activate the Filter option.
I have now the filter from Albumlist activated!

The cool thing is, its also black in the background.
CUI rocks!
Thanksalot!
