Mass downloading .lrc files with foobar2000?

Hello,

I need to mass download lyrics preferably .lrc files (.txt if not available) for 100's of albums.

I'm using LyricsShowPanelV3 Plugin to download and display lyrics for individual songs, but it saves the lyrics as a .txt file instead of a .lrc file.

There is a software Minilyrics which can download and show lyrics as well as save .lrc files on to the disk.

These two ways, lyrics are downloaded only for the playing songs.

Is there anyway to mass download .lrc files with foobar?

or Is there anyway that I can let foobar plays songs continuously skipping each song so that it can download the lyrics from either Minilyrics/Lyricsshowpanelv3?

or Is there anyway to mass embed lyrics onto their tags?

Thanks for your time.

Regards!

Not true. component saves .txt or .lrc based on what it finds and what you are set within it's preferences.

Add foo_preview, set it to a short time frame and you can get a pretty close approximation of bulk download.

Thanks. The preview trick working perfectly

Awesome! There isn't a thing foobar can't do!!

Yeah, also, lyric show plugin is saving as .lrc too!

Hi guys,

Thanks for this, really helped!

There are still many albums and tracks that did not get a .lrc file, some are more obscure albums, others more common (and find it hard to believe there is not a .lrc file for them etc).

Are there any things we should be doing to increase the chances of foobar (in conjunction with lyricspanelshow) to retrieve .lrc files? I have no problem leaving foobar running a few nights to collect them all

Cheers,

Bruce

Foobar's lyrics panel doesn't download all the .lrc files from timestamped 3 aka minilyrics so using original software might help a bit although probably not with those obscure ones. I only used it for uploading and some lyrics didn't show up in Lyrics Show Panel's search (not a complaint, glass 95% full :-)). I think some of it might be related to "&" character in artist tag, nothing scientifically confirmed just some pattern observed on one PC.
