DSP's not showing

I've just reinstalled windows 7 on a new hard drive, and i've got foobar installed, but all my plugins won't show in the DSP manager!

How do I get them to show?

the plugin list is really small too. Half the plugins are missing. they are dll files.

And when copying the .dll's in manually be sure to use the 'user-components' folder instead of 'components'. The latter is used for bundled components and default DSPs. Furthermore, each component needs to be placed in it's own folder.

i.e.: %program files%\Foobar2000\user-components\foo_quicksearch\foo_quicksearch.dll  -NOT: %program files%\Foobar2000\user-components\foo_quicksearch.dll

There is no such folder as "user-components" in my installation. This is with a newly installed 1.2.3 on Windows 7 Pro 64-Bit.

Hold the Shift key, and in the main menu, click on File > Browse configuration folder. The user-components folder will be found there (if you've managed to install any).

Also, a simple way to install components is to drag and drop the zip file or fb2k-component file onto the window located at Preferences > Components and then click Apply.

This^

Or locate the zip-file the component comes in with the file explorer of your choice, right-click it, choose 'open with' and select foobar2000.

But the method I posted earlier is easier for adding a large list of components in one go or transferring them back from a backup. If the folder user-components doesn't exist, simply create it yourself.... duh

I must be doing something wrong, i've got a new laptop and have gone into the same problem. same operating system.

The dll's arent detected, but the "foobar2000 component" ones are.
